This July, The Business Growers turns FOUR, and honestly? We’re feeling all the things! Grateful, energized, and maybe just a little shocked at how fast time flies when you’re doing what you love.
We set out to be a team that lives and breathes telecom marketing, IT, cloud, cybersecurity marketing, and managed services marketing. Four years later, we’re still doing just that (with more client wins under our belt).

How It All Started
Four years ago, our founder and CEO Laura Johns took a leap of faith, backed by years of experience in technology marketing and an unstoppable vision: build a marketing agency that truly understands the unique, often misunderstood world of B2B tech.
Think telecom marketing, cybersecurity marketing, managed services, cloud services, IT companies, and all the acronyms you can imagine.
With more than 18 years of experience in marketing leadership and a deep background in tech and telecom, Laura saw a major gap in the B2B space. Companies with incredible products and services but no clear way to tell their story. So, she built an agency to fix that!
Laura leads with a rare mix of sharp business sense and genuine care for every client and team member. Whether she’s shaping brand strategy, hosting The Know, Grow, Scale podcast, or cheering on a client win, she brings energy, clarity, and a growth mindset to everything we do.
We wanted to be the team that speaks fluent “tech” but translates it into messaging your audience actually understands. Growth is in our name, and it’s definitely in our DNA! Since 2021, we’ve:
