Chief Operating Officer

Lydia Walker serves as Chief Operating Officer and Integrator at The Business Growers, where she leads operations, team alignment, and scalable growth initiatives across the organization. With more than 20 years of experience in the technology and telecommunications industries, Lydia brings deep operational expertise and a proven ability to help companies scale with clarity and confidence.

Her career began in customer service in 2001, an experience that shaped her leadership philosophy around client experience and operational excellence. Over the years, she has played a key role in transforming organizations from boutique firms into multi million dollar industry leaders by building strong systems, mentoring high performing teams, and designing processes that drive sustainable growth.
Prior to joining The Business Growers, Lydia served as COO of Altaworx, where she led the company’s expansion into Managed Mobility and IoT solutions. She successfully stabilized and strengthened legacy Wireline and Voice divisions by implementing comprehensive operational frameworks and developing autonomous, accountable teams.

Lydia was recognized as a 2023 Business Alabama Women in Tech honoree. As former EVP of AMOP, she also oversaw the development of a proprietary software platform that evolved from an internal tool into a successful commercial product. A founding board member of ENRG and a dedicated practitioner of the Entrepreneurial Operating System, she is passionate about building healthy organizations where people thrive and performance follows.

Outside of work, Lydia invests in her community and church, mentoring youth and serving on the worship team alongside her son. A Louisiana native, she enjoys cooking Cajun cuisine and spending time on or near the water.
